We will navigate through the canals of the National Park aboard a canoe guided by local experts. The water canals are an extensive network of waterways that irrigate the jungle, which has adapted to harbor great biodiversity. It is an immersive journey in the middle of one of the most biodiverse Central American jungles in the world, full of exotic animals and unique sounds, where you will be able to spot caimans, monkeys, iguanas, sloths and different species of birds. Absolutely stunning
The canoe tour led by Jhan was so amazing we went twice. We did one trip in the sunshine and saw an amazing amount of wildlife (monkeys, birds etc). We went the next day in the rain and the jungle was amazing- very mystical. The flora and fauna is incredible. Jhan was super friendly and tailored the trip to us. We appreciated his positive attitude and very welcoming nature. He has a genuine appreciation for the incredible environment and atmosphere in Tortuguero. Thank-you Jhan. We will definitely return.
